Nearly 30 stylists will work on Donna Finney’s Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity house from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 2-3.
Finney, a mother of five and grandmother of one, has worked as a stylist at the Hair Cuttery at Pocono Green on Midlothian Turnpike for more than 12 years.
The house on Angus Road in South Richmond will have five bedrooms and will be wheelchair-accessible for Finney’s daughter who has cerebral palsy.

Anthony, Bob, Leslie, Valena, Paula, Pansey, Darlene, Jerry, Tarea, Suzette, Carol, Dexter, Tawana, Kirsten, Doris (and Cassandra in spirit)
I want to take the opportunity to thank each of you for participating in the TEAM RRHA day at the Habitat Women Build! I know your time is very valuable and I truly appreciate you who came out and put up scaffolding, siding, insulation, a back porch and even a roof on another house! I had a great time working with you all and was proud to stand beside you in this effort. You should all be very proud of what you accomplished on that day.
Special thanks to Doris for organizing everything and PROVIDING THE MOST IMPORTANT THING…FOOD!
Thanks to Anthony too for allowing the TEAM RRHA to be out of the office during that day.
And last but not least – Valena for being our photographer!
